Sketching
Sketching equipment can be kept to the bare minimum when travelling. It can be basic enough to fit into a handbag or small carry bag, ready to be produced the moment an opportunity presents itself.
Surprise yourself with the standard of your sketches. Experiment with using various mediums and learn how to draw perfect perspective.
Travel Sketching is quick and spontaneous. It is an impression of the people and place. It is not meant to be a realistic representation.
Create a visual souvenir of your holiday through sketching and travel notes. Write a brief description of the place you are sketching, date and location and other interesting information. Diarising your holiday adds another dimension of enjoyment and interest.
Experienced international tutor and artist Leonie Norton will encourage and guide you throughout the process. The absolute beginner will benefit as much as the more experienced artist.
All skills levels are welcome on the art tours, from those who have never attempted sketching, to those who already visually record their experiences. You will amaze and delight your family and friends with a personal and unique record of your travels. Friends, family and partners are well catered for and included in all activities.
